Unknown Foundation Mapping for Existing Transmission Line
FDH investigated and determined the as-built dimensions of existing transmission lattice towers with reinforced concrete pier foundations. FDH mapped the foundations by physical probing, and conducted Impact-Echo Dispersive Wave Testing, using proprietary technology, to determine the depth/thickness of each concrete foundation type, plan dimensions, and specific geometry of each foundation. Reports for the client were created showing the results and details of the foundations, including depth, width, geometry and any anomalies found.
