FDH is capable of delivering 2,000+ geotechnical projects a year and partners with a network of 250+ geotechnical drilling vendors whose resources range from conventional trailer and truck-mounted rigs to all-terrain and track-mounted rigs. FDH also has access to portable rock coring equipment and helicopter-placed rigs for use on the most challenging sites.
Our geotechnical group specializes in design recommendations for both shallow and deep foundations and provides geo-structural services for large infrastructure projects, including retaining structures, buildings, tower structures, and related facilities. Our full-service soils lab, managed by PhD-level research engineers, focuses on the science of soil analysis. By investing in its own facility for testing and analysis, FDH gains direct access to its project site soil samples, allowing geotechnical engineers the opportunity to participate in the testing process firsthand.
The following geotechnical engineering services are provided across multiple markets. FDH Infrastructure Services, LLC, offers engineering services in all jurisdictions where it is duly authorized and licensed to perform such functions. Engineering services in New York and North Carolina are provided by FDH Engineering, PLLC, an affiliated company.
