More Than 25,000 Civil & Industrial Investigations

Since its inception, FDH has maintained a strong focus on innovation and is a global leader in the engineering investigation of critical infrastructure. FDH’s expertise derives from more than two decades of research and over 25,000 investigations of civil and industrial infrastructure. In the last three years, FDH has performed more than 1,700 foundation investigations, and the company routinely performs 2,000 geotechnical investigations and 5,000 structural analyses and modification designs each year.

FDH’s extensive fieldwork and R&D efforts have been conducted in cooperation with multiple research facilities, including, but not limited to, North Carolina State University (NCSU), Duke University, Marshall University, the U.S. Army Research Office, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), as well as various state highway agencies (SHA) and transportation departments.
