Tower and Foundation Remapping of Concealment Tower
FDH completed a comprehensive unknown tower and foundation mapping for a major tower owner’s purchase of this concealed 39’ mono-tree telecom tower, camouflaged as a beech tree. FDH used lifts to access and carefully work around the limbs, capturing both structural information and connection information for branch replacement. Existing appurtenance information was also documented to aid in future analysis and audits. Using proprietary nondestructive test methods, FDH remapped the tower foundation, capturing below grade geometry and reinforcement information. From the field work efforts, full CAD drawings were generated for the tower and foundation.
