Commissioned by a wireless carrier in preparation for antenna placement, FDH field crews performed nondestructive dispersive wave investigation and rebar investigation on an existing water tower foundation with 10 legs. The tests were conducted to collect data used for determining the foundation’s overall, in-situ size. The data was analyzed and calculated the depth of the foundation while verifying that the concrete was continuous without breaks or fractures. The final report included a discussion of the test methodology, field findings, and a CAD drawing of the foundations suitable for use in structural analysis.
