Determining Bridge Pile Lengths for North Carolina DOT

FDH was hired by the NCDOT Hydraulics Division to determine the unknown lengths of 350 existing bridge piles and foundation (abutment) sizes for timber and concrete bridge types. Evaluations were also conducted of the thalweg and streambed profiles of each of the bridge locations.
