Adhikari Receives Women In Business Award Posted on Mar 24, 2021

Congratulations to FDH geotechnical engineer Dr. Pramila Adhikari, EIT, a recipient of the 2021 Women in Business Awards, sponsored by Triangle Business Journal, a Raleigh-based news outlet.

Adhikari is among 27 Triangle-area women selected for the award from 200 nominations. Award winners will be recognized in a virtual ceremony on May 13th and their profiles published in a May 14th TBJ special edition.

Over the past year, Adhikari has supported both the structural engineering and research and innovation divisions at FDH, as well as contributed articles to research journals and industry publications. Her TBJ nomination cited her participation with a team of engineers who conducted structural damage assessment following a major earthquake in Nepal and recommended engineering solutions for the affected communities.

For 24 years, TBJ’s Women in Business Awards program has recognized dynamic Triangle women with established track records of significant accomplishments in business and/or community service.
