Troy Peavey, director of field operations for Stainless, recently accepted an invitation from the National Association of Tower Erectors to serve as a member of the association’s Safety and Education Committee.
Peavey has spent his entire career in the broadcast and wireless industry, serving the last five years with Stainless, a broadcast subsidiary of FDH Velocitel. He has been a certified tower climber and rescue trainer for eight years and has conducted training throughout the United States and India. Peavey looks forward to sharing his knowledge and experience with the committee and helping to improve safety practices in the tower industry.
The National Association of Tower Erectors (NATE) is the industry leader in promoting tower climber safety. Since 1995, NATE has pursued a culture of safety for the tower erection, service and maintenance industry. The Safety and Education Committee is focused on developing and producing guidance to the tower industry through education.
